Why A Show-Off Extravagant Wedding Can End In Tears
They want to show the world how much they can spend. Little do they know the reality that awaits them. This is not to say that things always go wrong at such weddings. Not at all! But wait, how much involvement is the couple going to enjoy in the whole process? What about your ever loving friends and family? Sadly, even close family members end up being reduced to innocent spectators.
However, there are a number of specific factors that lead to the sad ending as
discussed below:
A
special day requiring redefining
On this day, the main event
on the minds of everyone close to the couple is that ‘they are getting
married.’ That is the main catch line of the whole event. There is no need to
start arranging to invite your favorite celebrities, childhood comedians and
action movie stars – unless they’re members of your family. Whenever a couple
does that, even the highlight of the day is confused. Honestly, how do you
expect to invite an international star to your wedding and expect to keep the
same tagline of the day as ‘your wedding?’ As soon-to-be newly-weds, you are
the two stars everyone has come to witness and support. The others can continue
with their own shows using other venues and times.
Small
but important matters are forgotten
With the hype of running
around and organizing your favorite singer’s bodyguards, it so often happens
that small things are moved out of the picture completely. One of the smallest
but important things that suffer is the wedding ring. Some still think that
since they have paid, every detail should be handled by the contracted party.
Embarrassing enough, some rings bought in a hurry either cannot fit or have to
be squeezed in till blood flow to that finger is blocked. How sad!
Distracting
and unnecessary additions
The spending power has much
to offer to the new couple. Some end up hiring expensive fleets which not only
announce to the unconcerned people, but also help them to arrive late at the
venue. The seriousness behind this is that by the time the couple reaches the
venue, some guests might have already left. Such distractions that are bought
with money are not worth it.
A
double surprise awaits him
Brides are usually quick to
suggest what needs to be done and other details. In contrast, most grooms with
the buying power just sit back and gulp down every suggestion coming forth
without going through. On the day of the wedding, the groom gets the shock of
his life as to how many unnecessary things were added! Perhaps that’s the time
he comes to realize that the loan he got has to be paid back in five years. It
becomes a double surprise because the bride sees nothing wrong. After all,
everything was funded by him.
Children
on the program
To set the record straight,
the kids invited to take part in those proceedings rarely request for the tasks
they receive. They are better off properly monitored by their parents.
Otherwise, some couples just feel compelled to practice what they see in
movies. Well, those kids in movies are strictly monitored by the director and
crew. Sorry. There is no need to let them spoil the fun of this day for you.
